13.4C. There was persistant moderate (sometimes heavy) rain from
the early hours until mid afternoon. The rain has pretty much stopped
now the 'reverse Pennine effect' has finally decided to come into play.
However now there is a nasty wind blasting through the trees that
must surely be up to 40 mph or so....

Day max here today 12.2C. Rain all day (still raining) and a force 5-6 wind
howling round the chimneys, nothing unusual, even for June.
(Unlike what is happening in south Yorks and Humberside with extreme rainfall at
present).

Willum, where's Humberside? Surely you mean the East Riding of
Yorkshire????
