Alan, have you been drinking???

I might have to, in order for me to divulge that lot. Stick to the weather
reports!

Confused Tony, wet Newbury, Berkshire
44mm 1800-1800 total (24/25th) 14.8c Max Temp.

PS! I hope you're safe from all the flooding there

There isn't any. A pleasant warm *dry* day with lots of sunshine and a
max of 18.6°C :-)

Last time I asked this question nobody responded so things are moving in
the right direction.

Two days:-

Day 1. Max 24°C Min 8°C Mean 16°C
Day 2. Max 22°C Min 16°C Mean 19°C

I would describe Day 2 as being warmer than Day 1 because it has a
higher mean than Day 1.

Others would describe Day 1 as being warmer than Day 2 because it has a
higher maximum than Day 2.

Which is correct?
