I've been meaning to build one of these for some time but I'm still not
convinced that the relatively small volume won't still give rise to some
internal solar heating. How have you found it from this aspect? Dave

I have found it a significant improvement on the shield that came with my
weather station, but to be honest this is second best, summer high
temperatures are up to a degree too high. If I had the time, money and
skill I would make a proper (wooden) one
