Default Leeds Rain

Here in Harehills, East Leeds (t'other side of city), I didn't even
notice the rain last night until I saw the evidence collected in the
plant pots in the yard. I would have at least heard it at 8pm, I wonder
if we missed that cell?

Currently the time is 2030. It has been raining for 30 minutes - at it's
maximum rate at around 2015 the Davis VP2 was giving a rate of 281mm /hr:
In other words if it had continued for another hour at this rate we would
have had Sheffield's monthly total for June. Total rainfall 21mm in 30
minutes. This is Monsoon rain!!!

It is the first time my flash flood alarm has been activated.

That should wash the sofas nice and clean. (If it's any consolation,
the citizens of Oxford are getting a little upset about the rubbish
outside their doors too.)
