Big thunderstorm in the High Pennines this evening around Alston

Numerous properties flooded and roads ripped up, sadly there has been
one fatality, elderley gent bailing out water has suffered a suspected
heart attack, rumours that someon else has been struck by lightning
but this cannot be confirmed

Large amounts of water, lots of debris to sort out in the morning.
