Doesn't always make a difference. I once stopped to aid a Lady that was
broken down on the Median of a Freeway and asked just about exactly what you
figured I'd ask. Not only did the window rollup faster than a Shuttle
Launch, I'd guess she broke finger nails locking the doors. I just went to
where I knew the Highway Patrol hid waiting for speeders and told them about
her. And that was almost 30 years ago.
The sad reality is folks just don't trust folks anymore and it's not just
always from unfounded fear.
Am I ever glad I got out of City Life.
