And very pleasant up here as well, though the cloud is rolling
in now. A max of 19.0C with a good deal of sunshine, though there
was a sharp shower in the early hours.

It looked at one time as if NW England would miss out on this one
though that now looks unlikely to be the case.
However I still think it won't be as bad as they are making out, NE
winds don't usually bring much rain here, a lot will break up over
the Pennines.
