That picture roughly equates to my idea of hell!


Whilst I can empathise with your sentiment Alan, for a good old fashioned
English family holiday, you can do a lot worse than Swanage, and there's
some wonderful scenery and World Heritage Coast too and we didn't go
anywhere near said beach.
With a young lad to consider, it's an ideal spot and was far nicer than
Spain earlier in the year, with the exception (mostly) of the weather!
We did also get around to introducing the poor lad to the delights of the SW
Coast path - so all was not lost!
