Default High in the wrong place

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder :-) In this part of the SE it was,
for me, just about the perfect summer day. The stickiness of yesterday
had all gone and the intermittent cloud cover kept the temperature in
the high teens. There was a pleasant coolish breeze too. Not an ideal
day, though, for those who like hot sunshine.

I'm surprised at the low temperature readings as in the Liphook area
of Hampshire it felt seasonably warm, about 21 or 22C. That area does
have a lot of sandy soil though which is supposed to make things
warmer?
I could comfortably stay still around 6pm in light clothing anyhow.
