Not a lot of rain here today, though it did get incredibly dark a few
times and there were some rumbles of thunder earlier. Very clear this
evening with details showing well on the hills.
BTW - yesterday evening the cloud seemed to be arranged in approx east
west stripes, and some of the contrails were in what I can only describe
as a helix pattern. What sort of air movement would cause that? Also a
nice sun dog.
