well so far the replies seem to be from those in the South West which
appear to be really happy with perhaps rather more in the way of sunshine
than here in the SE. Its just not warm enough, I dont call 20C warm for
Late August and with this Northerly flow around the High which is still
too far West, no matter what the rest of you enjoy - you are obviously
all active gardeners or do it yourselfers that dont feel the cold. I just
wanna laze in the hammock. Definitely no sitting out in the garden chairs
after 6pm already! and its not even late September yet, though it feels
like it. I still say the High is too far West and continue to moan.
DaveR west London
As I said a few weeks ago Dave it seems that high pressure forms
everywhere around but has largely avoided the UK this summer. This is
continuing the trend. Fronts are getting dragged around the present high
so despite a better overall synopsis we are still faced with mountains of
cloud blocking out the late summer sun. West London looks good this
morning.
This must be one of the most boring set-ups.
A NW flow giving slightly below to average temps. possibly breezy
and quoite a lot of cloud.
