Very nice detail and the type of bird picture I have yet to accomplish.
After having a Canon stabilized zoom on order for 5 months and no delivery
in sight I bought the ordinary 70-300 to have something to use. I now
must use use the poor man's stabilization-crank the "ASA"- but at least on
a digital camera this is the work of a few seconds. Posted--my _only_
decent bird closeup, and it was close, about 6 feet away.
