I'm sorry but this summer is or should i say the peroid since mid June has
been appalling from the perspective of no BBQ's, a mashed garden, putting
jumpers on or worse the central heating, cancelled sports days, ruined
fetes, crap wedding photos, the kids cannot play in the paddling pool, palid
white skin, people p**ssed off and down ( It is all such a stoical 1950's
British attiude).

I have generally lurked on this group for 5 years now and cannot understand
peope and there seem to be lots of them who think 20c is hot and these are
people who live in the South of England.
From a weather point of view i found last summer and particulaly the
10th/11th August very exciting. It is not as if the very high temps are ever
going to last a long time in the UK. Yes i am somebody who likes hot weather
in the UK, anybody else?
