Default Mist - What mist.

The MetO were not only predicting mist here all day, but if you go to
the Penzance forecast, click on recent past you will discover it has
indeed been misty - except it hasn't. There's been a lot of bright
weather with warm (up to 18C) sunny spells all around Mount's Bay.
www.easterling.freeserve.co.uk/Nomist.html In fact the Lizard is
visible from Penzance (10 miles or so)

It was beautiful down on Praa Sands beach at 14:00, sun & smallish
glassy surf. Shorts & T shirt weather.

Sadly, the MetO no longer have a clue what it's like on the Cornish
coast most of the time (On Sunday they can't even get conditions from
Pz heliport - it's shut.) So they use nearby places like Culdrose as a
source of recent weather. It's a bit like using reports from that Hay
Tor place and claiming that's the weather at Exmouth.

Must stop rambling on & do something useful!

Penzance

Just looked at the St Ives webcams
www.nci-stives.org/basiccamera.htm looks pretty sunny on the north
coast as well (15:45)
