Default I don't like talking in cliches -so I'll take them of for now.

Well I was over the moon about T+360 but now I don't think there's a
snowball's chance in hell of there being a cold spell, this side of
Christmas. Really, you just have to take it one day at a time and stay
focused, but I don't think the man in the street should take any notice
after T+96. Finally - at least it will be mild.

Dave

How on earth can you say there'll be no cold spell between now
and Christmas, i.e. in the next 2 months. What evidence is there,
either way? This is T + 1368 and GFS is little better than a lottery
after about T + 120.

Irony? Of course you can't! Read the subject heading and see if you can spot
the seven cliches therein! Perhaps I should have highlighted them in red ;-)

OK, Dave, but it wasn't *your* heading. The problem is there
are (or have been) a number of people on this group who could put up a
posting such as yours in deadly seriousness. Clearly I have
underestimated you. Oh, dear. :-)
