Default Global Warming !!!!

Peter. Thank you for your kind words. Now do you want the answer in miles or
kilometers? Okay I concede 420.000 years approx and that includes all bank
holidays. Now it's my turn. Will it snow on Christmas Day in London this
year? If you are correct you'll be escorted around the high tech desk and
lap tops of TWO (by the way you can take a guest)

Alastair. Waiting for signs of GW or GC is like "Waiting for Godot" (I'm
being generous here) The truth is, much ain't really changed really....

has
it?

Lawrence, you sound like and expert - how many years long is the Vostok
temperature record?

Vostok -80.3°c

Keith (Southend)

It would be interesting to see a sounding for that. Using the lapse

rate
from
the US Std. Atmos. of 6.5C/km, the temperture should get down to

absolute
zero within 25km.

OTOH perhaps the tropopause has sunk, just as it did in "The Day after
Tomorrow"!

Cheers, Alastair.
