It looks to have been the same line of showers that affected here for
an hour and a half slightly earlier in the afternoon. However, looking
at the Met Office radar, the intensity certainly seemed to 'perk up'
as it got further east, probably helped by temperatures being slightly
higher at that time and coinciding with 'maximum heating'.
