You're not allowed to use " time of the phase" in your explanation. That is
just way too technical for this group.

You get hold of a clock with nice big hands and no mickey mouse and
goofy cartoon to distract you then you line the hands up so that they
overlap when someone tells you it is 12 o'clock, check it what we call
6 hours later, when someone tells you it sis "six o'clock" (gett it?)
the tips of the hands should now be pointing away from each other.

Now here is the beauty of thg art of chronometry, most clocks work on
a twelve hour cycle. And the face of most clocks are subdivided into
more numbers than you can count on both hands.

Fortunately god has been kind to you and you an use each of your hands
to make up the full compliment. Now go and get someone to read out the
numbers for you and try to memorise them.
