Daily Express (13th Dec 2007)

"Britain's big freeze is set to continue into next week..."

"And forecasters say the bitterly cold conditions will continue at
least into the early part of next week, with more heavy overnight
frosts expected..."

I find it very sad that this weather is described as above.

One day, we'll get a bloody nose in this Country!!!

Ps: I don't buy the paper, but a colleague at work always leaves
'exibit A' on my desk :-)

The media reflect the general lack of education about the weather in the
UK. The BBC is wholly responsible for this. Dumbing down forecasts to a
level where any departure from average temperature is made to appear
sensational in order to grab the viewer and stop him changing channels.
Style before content. I don't blame the Daily Express, they are not a
public service.

I do. I don't believe that mass media has the right to misinform, fabricate
and insult just because it is privately owned. BBC weather forecasts may not
be well presented but if I had to stake my life on a forecast I wouldn't be
getting it from the forecast in a tabloid!
