It is nothing like bitter FHS :-(
Agreed it's hardly cold, in fact today is warm, it's above 5C with blazing
sunshine and naff all wind. Spent most of the morning outside changing the
car battery(*) (spent most time messing about jury rigging a seperate 12v
supply to keep the radio and ECU's etc happy). Didn't get cold fingers
once.
300m dense?
Dense is what we get up here regularly every time we get a wet
southwesterly i.e. less than 50 metres vis.
Aye, 300m is a light mist. Dense is when you have to turn dipped beam
headlights off and switch on the front fogs as you get so much flare back
otherwise.
(*) The car battery thinks it has been cold, didn't have enough umph to
start the car the other morning as it has been below -2C most of the
night. Failed about two weeks ago as well for the same reason.
