[WR] Aboyne
I hope the spreaders are out then. It's been so dry, there has been no need
for them this week and they've stayed tucked up in nice warm sheds. The cold
has played havoc with my cars electrics with wipers remaining wiping when
the key is out and an intermittent particle filter failure warning. My
Defender conked out completley due to a frozen fuel filter. Not the best
time to discover that my Britannia Rescue sub had expired last July. I was
rescued by a mate who works for the North of Scotland Hydro Board and he had
an impressive amount of kit in his Hydro Defender 120 including a satellite
hands free phone and state of the art Sat Nav with a 3D terrain display.
All very reassuring when the ice storm hits at 3pm tomorrow ( PS, for Hydro
Board read Electricity Company). The heater also was quite effective, mine
requires a cardboard sheet in front of the radiator for it to of be any use
at all. Amazon packaging is the perfect fit !

-10.8C and falling
Could be coldest night so far this year.
I wonder how the front will react to this cold air when it arrives
sometime
tommorrow ?
It will slide over the top of it and either give freezing rain or snow.
