Hello Bob. I have friends and family in various parts of Canada, so I've
always kept at least a vague eye on Canadian weather. As you might
imagine, it's the winter variety that I find most interesting, given that
we have nothing like it here. A friend of mine grew up in Athabasca,
northern Alberta, and delighted in telling me what it was like to walk to
work in temperatures of -40C...
