Though not rare, it is not common to have a clear day from start to
finish in southern Ontario in early winter.

The bright sunshine and sparkling snowcover made for a pleasant day.
The low last night was minus 10C. The high today was minus 3C.

The days are noticeably longer now with twilight lasting till about
5:40 p.m when the sky is clear.
