Not very seasonal here in Cheshire, either. Max of 13.7 (VP2) today and
still 13.5 as I write, much warmer than this morning despite (or perhaps
because of?) a westerly wind (humidity dropped sharply as the temperature
rose - is this a Foehn effect?).

Still only one air frost this month, and that a mere -0.7 on the 3rd.
Rainfall already past the 30-year average [1], the fields round here are
saturated so we can expect some floods this weekend.

Flies buzzing around, too - it's Winter, Jim, but not as we know it.
