An analysis of the autographic chart from the Wokingham weather station
confirms that the rain shower at 0935Z on the 26th was in the heavy
category, just. The max rate was 10 mm/hr, the total duration was just over
4 minutes, and the total fall was 0.25 mm. Rainfall radar for that time
shows only blue intensity echoes. I was out cycling about 1.5 hours later,
and the still wet (in patches) roads with puddles only extended a few
hundred metres westwards from here. We had further light rain/drizzle
during the morning, as you did in Bracknell, Martin, but not enough to wet
the ground.
