I record my highest snow depths for each year and since 1995 my highest

Looks like 2008 could well be another

Highest falls:

1995 28/3 7.5cms
1996 19/11 12.5cms
1998 15/4 7.5cms
2001 21/3 8.0cms
2005 28/11 6.0cms
2006 2/3 5.0cms

Weston Coyney weather station (North Staffordshire) 220 metres asl

Just to add to the FACTS above.

From 1967 to 1994 there were only 5 occasions when non Winter months had
recorded the highest fall for that year.

1970 4/3 25cms
1971 22/11 5cms
1975 27/3 15.5cms
1976 26/3 6.5cms
1988 20/11 6cms

You might check out what Tropical Cyclones were active (at SF 2 or
more) if you can be sure of the data. That would save me a bit of
bother.

Anything less than an F2 will be difficult to assess as a modifier.
