Apart from the obvious benefits of cheaper heating heating bills

is anyone on here (south of York) honestly enjoying this current
weather.

It might be over 14c - but it is damp, overcast and dull - utterly
awful.

Whatever happened to our crisp, January days of sun, 5c and no

wind...

It's excellent golfing weather :-)

Aren't the course and greens waterlogged after all this rain?

I was thinking that. Even ours fairways are getting squidgy and we've
only had 37mm so far this month.

A bit wet underfoot this morning but no great problem. Our course
doesn't get muddy and there was no standing water on the greens. I
played on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday this week and didn't need
waterproofs on any of the days. Cloudy weather is better than sunny
weather at this time of year due to the low sun angle.
