Though only about 10 to 15 cms of snow is expected this afternoon and
evening, it is coming down in a heavy burst accompanied by a strong W
to SW wind. Visibility is poor, and snowplows and sanders are having
trouble keeping up. Roads will not close here unless the weather is
even worse than this. We are used to many wintertime snow events. The
temperature is between minus 1C and minus 3C with a much colder
windchill.
