Default A stroll up Ben Nevis

Anyone fancy a stroll up Ben Nevis this Friday afternoon? ;-)

Dave

I'd be up for it, but then I'm mad :-)

In fact you're okay if you walk up from Glen Nevis until you get to where it
opens out a few hundred feet below the summit, then it's dangerous. The summit
itself is very dangerous in bad weather as you can walk over a snow cornice and
fall 1000 feet to your death very easily.

Yes Will, been there, done that!!

A few years ago, a mate and I spent an hour crawling across the summit
plateau, throwing snowballs in front of us to check the edge of the
known world wasn't too close!

Friday would be an interesting day to go up there but our climbing clubs
motto is "An epic a day keeps boredom at bay"!

Cheers
