Very similar here in Warlingham - max 28.1°C and not oppressive even though
I was working outside. Thick Ci later in the afternoon lowered the temperature
a bit.
At 1255 on R4 Penny Tranter said it would be "very humid and warm" (her
exact words). At the time most dewpoints (at least in the SE) were 10-11°C

14-15C here in Cheltenham.
