NE Pennine Inversion report
09Z-09Z11th February 2008

MWS only 1.1KT yesterday with just 8KT max gust, unusual in Copley.
2.0KT mean so far today with a gentle Pennine katabatic overnight.
Cloudless throughout, apart from FEW Cs, and breeze not reaching Lead
Mill.

Interesting fell run this morning from a misty and breathtaking -3C at
the Lead Mill (700ft) to a relaxing +6C on the fellside at 1200ft.
