.... absolutely amazing: lots and lots of activity all around us - some
intense rainfall has been reported nearby, but here in Bracknell,
although it's been 'rumbling' off and on since 1430Z (now 1545Z), all
we've had is a little rain - dampened the ground for a short time, but
that's gone again, and the latest radar image seems to imply that the
'worst' has gone to the north of us.
How could we miss all those white pixels? In my view, when the Met
Office left the old building on London Road, they left behind some sort
of 'force-field' generator which has deflected any significant rain
away. Talk about Moses parting the Red Sea waters!
