.... very 'heavy' here in Bracknell now. Dew Point at 18Z (7pm local)
18.7degC, a shade *higher* than the same time yesterday, with
(currently) little wind under 8 oktas of cloud. Had a look at the dew
point plots and there is some lower humidity (i.e. dew points) to the
east in the Greater London basin, but further east, they come back up to
17degC. A fairly definite easterly being drawn into the storm complex
(just to our north - see Norman's post), and I *think* the flow has
backed enough to bring ex-North Sea air into the Thames Estuary, rather
than the higher dewpoint stuff presently. However, on looking at the
24hr sequence of the GFS dewpoint output, can't see a real 'air-mass'
change so we've got this high humidity for a little while yet (perhaps
to Thursday at least).
