Spring Tides on Monday. I would have thought there must be a good
chance of coastal flooding at the top of the Bristol Channel if the
predictions prove correct. Force 9-11 over the sea of the north coast
of SW England blowing the water straight up the Bristol Channel & a
pressure of 970mb to help the level rise further. The swell swell
forecast is also impressive

, which might test the Bude sea defences.

Its not just the depth but the breadth of coverage of fairly low pressure
that ends up feeding that dome of sea water into the north North sea.
This coming one is broad. The spring tide on Monday is in the top 15 percent
of all high water heights predicted for this year, before adding the surge
and any local low track and wind effects.
For central south coast the midnight tide mon/tue will be interesting
