Default Weather on Mercury

According to the news this morning it can reach 800F there.
That's 10 times hotter than a hot summer's day!

I noticed that, too - aargh!

Something else that occurred to me is - WTF will it take 7 years to get
there? Mercury is what - 60m miles away, yet the Cassini mission to
Saturn covered at least 10 times that distance in 7 years.

Is it powered by a Sinclair C5 motor?
