Here we go, another "gut feel" forecast.
A very cold Easter is now pretty certain with snow in places. But, once
the
longwave pattern translates away east at the end of the month that could
well be the end of this present unsettled spell and as we move into
April
some warm, dry and sunny weather is on the cards. Just watch Spring go!
But,
... as has been the pattern recently another long wave retrogression
could
occur turning it colder and wet again towards the end of the month as we
go
into May.

Any snow likely in South Wales over Easter, as I may be visiting. Or
will I need to head up to Brecon?
Thanks.

Damp mild often foggy Satuarday
Certainly possible Simon.
Obviously higher ground is more likely.
A lot depends on wind direction though and that detail is too far away yet.
