No, there are lots more alternatives:

1. Put a giant venetian blind in space to block off a small
percentage of the sun's output - 1% should do it - bags I holding onto
the chord, though!
2. Temporarily slow down the earth's orbit during the night(!) to
make the cooling nights longer and the hot days shorter,
3. Move the earth into a higher orbit (some politicians and pundits
are already there), further away from the sun - give me a decent sized
lever and I'd be happy to give it a go.
4. Twice a year, at the equinox, park the earth for a few days to
allow both hemispheres a bit of a chance to take a breather and cool
down
5. Syphon some of the oceans off onto the moon,
6. If that's too ambitious, maybe drill a large plughole through the
Pacific into the eath's core and drain off some of the water that
way,
7. Make smoking compulsory for everyone so that the increased opacity
of the atmosphere will reflect more of the sun's heat (or does that
absorb it?)
8. Encourage everyone to drink more fizzy drinks, using atmospheric
CO2 during manufacture
9. Grow larger bones
10. Construct huge Limewater fountains to absorb excess atmospheric
CO2
11. Take one less breath in every 20
12. Metabolise less by sleeping 50% more
13. Move more slowly, speak less often, do less work
- and stop politicians and career "environmentalists" producing so
much hot air, in favour of actually doing something constructive.
