A surprisingly 'warm' night here.

The temperature rose steadily yesterday evening and into the early hours of
today. It reached 10.0C by 00:00 and remained above 10C until 04:15, peaking
at 10.5C at 01:30. It has been dropping very slowly until 09:00 but was
still at 8.0C at 06:00 this morning.

A wild'n'windy night, and still howling a hooley out there.

Currently (10:25), 8.2C, RH 68%, DP 2.6C, 996.0 hPa (S), Wind 23 mph gusting
36 mph NW.

8.8C here at 09:00, overnight minimum was 8.5C.

As you say, a very windy night. Maximum gust here was 46mph, but it
topped 60mph in very exposed spots. e.g. 62mph near Land's End at
03:46.
