needed to lay a brick, so I nipped into a secluded school doorway and
dropped a huge, long curly one. I was then amazed to see that my dog
proceeded to wolf it down and then licked his chops!

Dogs do have a natural instinct to eat there own (and possibly other) turds
as a source of vitamins. Normally well fed domestic dogs don't do this but
if a dog starts doing it, it is a sign of something lacking in their diet.
