Default Cheltenham snow

Began here at 4.05am. Have 2 ins lying snow in slightly elevated
location north of Cheltenham. Best conditions for 18 mths (not saying
much these days). Good wet snow. Trees slightly weighted down. Sun now
coming through, temps at 1.0c. A typical garden variety april snow
fall. Makes me think of the golden years (1980's). Does anyone recall
the April 1999 snow?.

I was not in the country at the time. Would like to get a more
considered opinion on this fall.
