Ok all, after reading your follow up comments, here's my point of view as an
interested weather person - note I'm a NONE 'Professional' unlike the rest of
you !

I like a good number of you can't stand the vague waffy way ITV present it
with their presenters... Much prefer the more informed method BBC use... Note
that I've never watched Channel 5 so can't comment but guess they'll be the
same as ITV...

The thing is, - now I'm not trying to justify either way it's done, - but
we're all looking at it from an interested person's perspective, you've got to
think that we'll be in the minority when it comes to those watching it...
Just look at the rest of the quality of TV that's out there...!

Now Tudor asked if anyone had seen any other countries TV WX, I've seen it in
Italy quite a few years ago... It was always presented by a military person in
full uniform... I couldn't understand it of course, but I seem to recall that
the graphics were very ITV !? I believe it's changed quite a bit now...
though not sure in what direction...

Just done
http://www.google.co.uk/search?ie=UT...er+forecast%22
which returns 2.88 million hits for English only !!! Goodness alone knows how
many you could dredge through if you turned off the English only ?!?!
