How are forecasts presented in the rest of Europe? Do they do it more

other countries' forecasts? Just interested.

Surprisingly, US and Canadian TV weather forecasts are rather good.
The major networks and syndicated local stations tend to employ their
own forecaster, who is often a professional or keen amateur with a
good knowledge of the subject. They are usually male, middle-aged and
although a personality cult is often built up around them, they *do*
know how to present a forecast accurately and with the help of many
more gizmos (such as local doppler radar) than available to
forecasters here.
