According to the SW forecast (which was issued in the early hours -
and not updated)

"Outbreaks of light rain or drizzle at times, with a southeasterly
wind, fresh to locally strong at times, particularly over Cornwall.'

It's actually been mainly sunny in Penzance this morning, although it
is clouding over somewhat now. About as far west as you can get
www.sennen-cove.com/today2.htm - note the comment re the forecast.

Also not windy, just a bit breezy. Penzance heliport (which is right
on the seafront with a directly onshore wind) mean wind speeds

Very pleasant out in our sea front garden.

Looks like the front will pass over Cornwall during the hours of
darkness.
