Default [WR] Haytor (still dry)

Still dry here in Haytor.
Wind is freshening though and pressure is falling like a stone.
Even some brightness now poking through the layers of rather unstable

looking
altocumulus with patchy stratocumulus and stratus below.
Visibility has deteriorated since yesterday to circa 6 miles.

Exeter 5 day city forecast from
http://www.metoffice.com/weather/eur...ncornwall.html is still

giving light rain today and fog tonight but now with thundery showers by
day
Tues/Weds/Thur.

Thankfully it looks less likely that we will get a full gale here now.

Will.

Heavy rain with just one rumble of thunder reached here at 08:15 (BST) and
just cleared now (10:00) total 19.2mm in that period

The strongest gusts we have had so far was in the sunshine yesterday
afternoon (27mph max), perfect for the windurfers. With the high humidity
and increasing SE wind I thought
we might get trouble with low cloud on the south coast, but it remained a
glorious day.

The strongest gust since then was 25mph during the rain, so nothing much
more than a fresh breeze here.

So all in all totally unexciting.

Brightening up now, and the wind's veering, so I think it should OK this
afternoon
