Today
Early cloud will disperse to allow sunny spells and it will become very warm

Actual ends up as:
Dull and cloudy, cloud not dispersing, not warm [15.7C at 12.30pm] plus the
wonderful idea of the the so called 'isolated shower' forecast in the
afternoon possibly being the only saving grace of the expected picture
today.
Then this evening
Tonight:
Soon becoming generally cloudy, with outbreaks of rain spreading from the
south across the region, some of it heavy and thundery.
Eh? Soon becoming generally cloudy but its been cloudy all day! they don't
know their A from their elbow.
bloody joke

Only "cloudy all day" if your day ends at lunchtime. By the time
you read this the sun will have been out for at least an hour and a
half and the temperature won't be far off 20°C. The only error in the
forecast was in not predicting the development of convective cloud to
the east of London in the morning and its subsequent westward
movement. But it has now gone. Far from being a "totally wrong"
forecast I'd say it was so far "mostly right".
