Damn Them, They cant get it right even within a 24 hour period. Wrong

Today
Early cloud will disperse to allow sunny spells and it will become very
warm
again. A few isolated heavy afternoon showers may develop in the west.
Actual ends up as:
Dull and cloudy, cloud not dispersing, not warm [15.7C at 12.30pm] plus
the
wonderful idea of the the so called 'isolated shower' forecast in the
afternoon possibly being the only saving grace of the expected picture
today.
Not wrong for all of the south-east. That's pretty much what we've had
in my part of Surrey, except that there were no showers. It's always
hard when this sort of grunge spreads inland from the North Sea to
forecast just how soon, and how far eastwards, the cloud will be burn
off by the sun.
So whats your prediction for West London tonight then?
I imagine that the murk will spread back in. Later in the night, I
understand that outbreaks of heavy rain are expected. (I hope I haven't
given the impression that I'm more expert than I am. I am not a
professional forecaster, just someone who has been interested in the
weather for a very long time and who has acquired some knowledge along
the way.)
