Managed one 21C+ here, last Sunday at 23.2C. High today 10.0C, at
least it's dry, can't stand wet. Hey, ho.
Think you're up Durham way, Ken? Would explain the low temp today with the
wind off the North Sea.
I know how lucky we are down south, especially here on the coast where we
escape the worst of the oppressive heat.
Sorry, Jim. Copley, Teesdale, nr Barnard Castle, County Durham.
It should start to warm up when the wind comes off the land again.
Ten days in a row over 21 deg C here in Fareham and that's without any
Stevenson screen effect (screen mostly shaded by house). Fantastic for
May (good for any month in fact!).
Yesterday Solent MRSC max was 1.9 deg C above mine and today it was a
humungous 2.1 deg C above mine. My goodness, where will we all be if
plastic screens ever fully replace wooden ones?
