Default Tropical Rain?

Never let it be said you don't try to make the best of a favourable
situation Lawrence - great thing hindsight isn't it..

The Met O are caught up in our risk minimising litigous times, it's not them
driving that. You should attack all those who seek lawyers at the drop of a
hat, or a slip of a foot on a pavement.

Blimey even the Summer weather is being over-hyped now. What will be next,
"severe clouds" forecast for tomorrow followed by a "spell a very sharp
shadows!"
How about a weather warning "the rain will be wetter than usual".

Weather warnings galore on UKMO it's pathetic.

At 07:57 this morning on R4, Rob Mc. was forecasting 'rain of tropical
intensity'.

Has anyone experienced it yet?
