Great if your going to be located at the 500Mb pressure height on that

I, like yourself am watching the dismal weather in that part of the world

I will be on the Costa Del Sol from the 7th-14th.

Hi there,

Bearing in mind the rotten weather that the Balaerics & Spanish Costas
have been experiencing, and the fact that I'm off to Majorca for 2
weeks
on the 20th June, I can't help but getting excited about this:

I hope i'm not being over optimistic. Do you guys see any sign of the
awful weather in that part of the world coming to an end?

For an example of how bad it's been The Weather Underground have
historic
records for Majorca going back to 1996. The normal number of rainy
days
for May seems to be about 5 (6 at most) but so far this month they've
already had 15 days of rain! Quite exceptional.

All your thoughts would be most welcome especially if they're of the
hot &
sunny variety. :-)

Dismal?

You oaf! There is a food shortage world-wide and this rain is breaking
a long drought there. I hope you get ****ing soaked. You moron.

In answer to your 'comments' Weatherlawyer, the fact that there is a food
shortage is of course unfortunate for those who have to suffer it. The fact
that there is also a drought in that part of the world is also unfortunate,
but there is NOTHING that you, I, fellow poster GKN or anyone else of our
standing in the world can do about it. This is down to governments to
resolve (or at least alleviate). HOWEVER many people on the Spanish costal
resorts and the Balearics make their living from tourism during the summer
months and in this respect we CAN make a very positive contribution. The
only thing that this unseasonal weather is going to do to these people is to
potentially reduce their main source of income and potentially take away
their liveliehoods less off unless the weather improves.

So Weatherlawyer if you're so concerned about the plight of the people in
the Spanish Costas, Balearics etc do us all a favour - stop banging that
'holier than thou' drum of yours, go and book yourself a holiday down there
and go and spend your hard earned cash. I guarantee they'll appreciate it
much more than a month's worth of rain in the summer any day!

So - back to my original question - any good weather on the way guys?
