Default T/S Arthur ... first named storm of 2008 'season'

Within the 'normal' time frame, as the North Atlantic/Caribbean season
is nominally 'opened' on the 15th May.


I notice that the replacement name for the retired Isidore is Ike. Maybe
it's just me, but "Hurricane Ike" has a certain, somewhat ominous, ring
to it.
